Every year, Stampin’ Up! produces a stamp set that benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Buy this stamp set and Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to RMHC.  And you will have a fun stamp set that you can use to make cards, gifts, and more!

Flamingo Lingo

Let me show you what Dorrie made with this set.  I LOVE the little flowers that look like a lei.

Hamburger Die

When the 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! catalog came out, I was intrigued by the Hamburger die for our Big Shot machine.  I love boxes so of course, I had to have this die!  I finally had a chance to open it and try it out and it so cute!  Too small for a Big Mac, but there are so many things that you can put into this cutie – candy, love notes, or trinkets.   And they are so much fun to decorate!!

Hamburger Boxes

If you have a Big Shot machine, get your Hamburger die (133724) today!  Psst:  if you don’t have a Big Shot yet, you might want to wait a week because we are having a great deal on the Big Shot in August.  And one more thing!  There is a Fry Box die (132966), too!

Amazing Gift

Catcher1 Catcher3

Last week, I went to the annual Stampin’ Up! convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, and met up with my dear friend, Lauri who presented me with this incredible thread catcher that she made for me.  It has a removal pin cushion weighted down by a ceramic tile, and the “bucket” has a handy loop for my scissors.  It matches some other sewing accessories that I have that I will share with you another time, and will look awesome in my crafting studio for the RV – can’t wait!!

I wanted to make her a special thank you card, and so made this Card in a Box that is a twist on the others that are very popular right now.

Card in a Box

Like the other cards, it is made from a half-sheet of cardstock and it will still fit in an A2 envelope, but the paper is cut lengthwise (4-1/4″ x 11).  Simply score lengthwise in half (2-1/8″) and for the crosswise sections, score at 4″, 5-1/4″, 9-1/4″, and 10-1/2″.  The crosspieces inside are cut at 4-3/4″ x 3/4″ and scored 3/8″ from each end.

If you have any questions about either of these products, just email me!

World of Dreams

Today, I would like to share the cards that Cathy did for our new catalog swap using the very popular, “World of Dreams” stamp set. For this card, she also used one of my favorites, Work of Art.

Nuts About You!

I wanted to share the adorable samples that Bobbie made using the ever-so-cute hostess set, Nuts About You.  When you place a $150 order (or do a book party), you gert to spend $25 in hostess dollars on anything in the catalog, but the far better value is to select hostess sets because your dollars go much further.  This cute set costs just $14 for wood-mount or $10 for clear-mount.

Possoms may not be cute in real life, but this one is!

Alicia selected Choose Happiness (page 118) for one of her sets.  Here are her masterpieces.  Alicia is really an artist and showcases her watercolor techniques with these pretty, honey-colored blooms!

#howiblend

Today, Stampin’ Up! released half of our new Blendabilities assortments for purchase (the other 6 assortments will be available next month).  I had never used alcohol-based markers before, but I LOVE them!!  I have had mine for a month now and I love how smoothly they color and blend on our ultrasmooth Whisper White cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! has also released 6 videos demonstrating how fun they are to use and different techniques that you can use.   Check them out here!

I think the last one is my favorite.  I just ordered the Sweetheart Punch (133786) today, but now I know that I need to get the Groovy Love stamp set (wood: 134243 or clear: 134246), too!

This month, you can order 6 of the color assortments and next month, the others.  Check them out at my Stampin’ Up! Store.
