Stampin’ Up!’s Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper (137784) is so pretty that it is shown in the catalog framed.
Well, I figured, why not take it a step further and decorate a painter’s tray-style frame?
I added some die-cut butterflies from our new Butterflies Thinlits Dies (137360). It took me a few tries to figure out the correct “sandwich” in my Big Shot. I finally ended up with the Magnetic platform, shim, cutting pad, cardstock, 2 layers of waxed paper, and another cutting pad. Then I ran it through the Big Shot 3 times. The cardstock popped right out and I could shake out most of the little spaces, using a paper-piercing tool to push the rest out. The waxed paper came off pretty easily, too. I like this method better the dryer sheet method some people are using. (plus I had waxed paper handy and I didn’t have any non-scented dryer sheets).
