I’m excited to be going to Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage celebration (convention) next month! They are looking for people to create display boards for the event, and even though I have never done this before, I decided to apply for the honor. They want 3 cards fronts, 1 scrapbook page, and 2 3-D items.
From the hostess set in the Occasions Catalog. I like to sew almost as much as I like to stamp, and I just HAD to have this set.
Isn’t this lamb adorable? When I put my stamp together, I put the words on the end of the stamp for more versatility. I think the lamb would be perfect for a baby card! (Psst: I used a fork to tie the bow)
This card demonstrates the “collar fold”, which is popular right now. Because our Designer Paper is so pretty on both sides, this technique shows it off so well!
And now for the scrapbook page. I admit that I don’t do a lot of scrapbooking but I do want to do more. And as soon as I get some photos from my granddaughter’s recent Sweet 16 party, I am going to add them to this page!
And finally, two 3-D items. First up, treat bag tags decked out with the new Rose Garden thinlits. So much fun to make. Now, to get some cookies to put in the bags!
And last, but not least, a Christmas ornament. I know that Christmas is long over, but I really love how this ornament turned out. I used to make ornaments with recycled CD’s but they are hard to find these days, so I used lots of layers of cardstock so that it would hold up year after year.

Thank you, Brenda! I do think that this falls into the “be careful what you wish for” bucket. It would be great to win, but there would be a lot of stress getting samples done in a short period of time. I’ll keep you posted!
